Gentlemen we are almost at a close. But
what a bang that we are going out with.
Thanks to Bryan Holcomb's effort we have
really had some great meetings. A special
thanks goes out to A&T University and Dr.
Singh. There representation at last months
meetings was fantastic!!! A&T's commitment to
ASHRAE stands out as a beacon to all
universities.
Terry Townsend brought big guns when he
visited with us in March. He made a
presentation to the Platinum sponsors during
a lunch meeting, a presentation at A&T before
giving a multi-media presentation for our
main meeting. For those that thought it
were not there missed an inspiring talk about
where our world is going and how quick it is
going there. It is easy to see and hear of
these huge issue dealing with the environment
but when the time table is describe it hit's
you like a ton of bricks. There is no doubt
that what you and I do right now will effect
the world!
This month we will have Mark Nunnelly
bringing a topic that you WILL NEED coming up
this summer. There is no doubt that you will
have a humidity question / problem in the next
4 months. This is the perfect time to come
and get some solid answers before that they
are ask.
Impress your family and friends with your
effortless knowledge of absolute humidity
control. Learn what Mike Quinn is talking
about when he
is rambling on about vapor pressure! Be there it
will be worth your time!
Impress your familiy and friends with your

Remember that the spring golf outing is
around the corner and I challenge all you
to bring one non-member as part of your team.
Lets broaden our reach of ASHRAE!
I would like to take a moment to thank all of
our officers and tell them great job and keep
up the good work we only have a little ways
farther to go.

1927 - Carolina Theatre
Around 1927, the Carolina Theatre became the first
public building in Greensboro to install air
conditioning. Most other public facilities, including the
Jefferson-Pilot Life Insurance Co. Building, didn't put
in systems until after World War II.

Membership is having a strong year. We have and
handful of new members and most of our existing
members have paid their dues. Let's try to invite as
many guests as possible to come to our March
meeting. Be sure to invite people who may be outside
the HVAC industry but are interested in what we do,
i.e., Architects, Building Owners, etc.
As always, we strive to have Positive Membership
Growth. The key to this Positive Net Growth is to have
everyone renew their membership. Please check your
membership status to be sure that you are current.
This helps the chapter greatly!
If there is anyone you know that might be
interested
in joining ASHRAE please have them call
me. Kevin
